About TrustBit
An independent software studio built on a simple conviction: the name on the product should be a promise about how it was made.
Why "TrustBit"?
In computing, a single bit is the smallest unit of certainty a machine can hold: it is either set, or it isn't. We named the company after that idea because it's how we think trust works, too. You don't earn it with slogans; you earn it one verifiable decision at a time, until the whole product is made of them.
TrustBit exists because too much software ships on hope: hope that the edge case won't happen, hope that nobody rotates the device at the wrong moment, hope that the numbers come out the same on every platform. We build the other kind: software whose behavior can be demonstrated, reproduced, and defended.
What we're here to do
We design and ship software products, our own and select work for others, that hold up under the two hardest audiences in the world: real users on real devices, and our own test suites.
We stay deliberately small. Every project gets the same people from first sketch to store listing, which means context never gets lost in a handoff and quality never becomes someone else's department.
The measure we hold ourselves to is simple: if we can't demonstrate that something works, we don't claim that it does. That one rule quietly decides everything else, from what we agree to take on, to how we build it, to the day we consider it ready to ship.
The four rules we don't break
Determinism over luck
Given the same inputs, our software produces the same outputs: every run, every platform, every time. Reproducibility is the difference between engineering and gambling.
The test suite is part of the product
Untested behavior is unowned behavior. Everything we ship carries committed, executable proof of what it does, so future changes can't silently break past promises.
Users are not the product
We collect the minimum, disclose everything we collect, and design so that the honest answer to "what do you do with my data" is usually "nothing, because we don't have it."
Ship deliberately
Every release is versioned, verified, and traceable to its exact source. If it's on a user's device, we can tell you precisely what it is and how it got there.
